Fasten Up Your Future

Did you know...

You are three times more likely to die in a car crash if you don’t wear a seat belt.

Compared to the rest of the UK, people in Birmingham are seven times less likely to wear a seatbelt.

In Birmingham, 16-24-year-olds who live in South Asian communities are most likely to be killed or injured in a car crash.

If we all wore our seatbelts, then the number of people killed and injured would go down.

What is Fasten up your Future?

Fasten up your Future is a seatbelt campaign for the West Midlands. The aim of this campaign is to motivate young people to wear a seatbelt, no matter the occasion, no matter how short the journey.

How can I get involved?

If we change one person’s mind about wearing a seatbelt, then potentially, we just saved a life.

Tell your family and friends today to always wear their seatbelt, no matter the occasion or how short the journey.

Make your pledge

Which video will you share across your social media channels to raise awareness of the dangers of not wearing a seatbelt?
