Camp Hill line railway stations
Moseley Village station
Ends: Ongoing
Last updated: 1 December 2025
What’s happening?
Exciting progress continues on the Camp Hill Line, with brand-new railway stations at Moseley Village, Kings Heath and Pineapple Road set to reconnect South Birmingham to the rail network for the first time in 80 years.
These stations will provide faster, more reliable and sustainable transport options into Birmingham City Centre, reducing congestion and pollution on local roads. Each station will have 2 platforms, lifts, ticket machines, information screens, and secure bike parking.
To support the construction, essential highway works will be taking place throughout the summer in your local areas. Please find the latest updates below and how they may affect your journey.
For more information about the new stations visit Camp Hill line webpage.

From Monday 8 December to Thursday 11 December between 8pm and 6am an overnight closure will be in place on St Mary's Row for resurfacing works.
Bus services
National Express services 1 and 41 to Five Ways will be diverted between Wake Green Road and Salisbury Road, so please allow extra time for your journey.
Some of the bus stops on Wake Green Road and St Mary's Row will not be served while the overnight road closures are in place. Please use our Journey Planner before you travel.
From Monday 15 December, the temporary traffic signals will be removed and a new road layout will be in place on St Mary's Row. Oxford Road and access to the Marks & Spencer car park from St Mary's Row will reopen.
