Camp Hill line railway stations

Exciting progress continues on the Camp Hill Line, with brand-new railway stations at Moseley Village, Kings Heath and Pineapple Road set to reconnect South Birmingham to the rail network for the first time in 80 years.

These stations will provide faster, more reliable and sustainable transport options into Birmingham City Centre, reducing congestion and pollution on local roads. Each station will have 2 platforms, lifts, ticket machines, information screens, and secure bike parking.

Overnight works will take place on Pineapple Road and Cartland Road from Monday 26 October to Monday 2 November, between 9 pm and 6 am. 

Pineapple Road will be closed and temporary traffic lights will be in place on Cartland Road.

Buses

The following Diamond bus will be on diversion:

Service 27 via Cartland Road, Dogpool Lane and Dad's Lane.

Pedestrian access to Pineapple Road railway station will be maintained, and train services will continue to run as normal. Passengers with accessibility needs will be able to access the station drop-off point during the overnight road closures.
